Your very own space in unspoilt North
Devon

Hartland Forest Golf & Leisure
Parc nestles just 3 miles inland from North Devon's delightful
Golden Coast and dramatically beautiful National Trust Heritage
Coastline.
Hartland Forest encompasses
thousands of acres and is home to herds of wild roe deer. The Parc
is set within 114 acres of mixed gardens, ponds heaths, copses
and river valley and is a tranquil haven for wildlife including butterflies,
dragonflies, hares, abundant bird life such as ducks and geese,
sparrowhawks, buzzards and barn owls plus many wild flowers and rare
plant species.
Within the grounds are well
stocked fishing lakes, two all weather tennis courts and riverside
walking trails.

Golfers could ask for
nothing more than to have this superb golf course on their doorstep.
The 18 hole, par 71 course extends to just over 6000 yards in an
exceptionally scenic and peaceful location and is acknowledged
as one of the most interesting in North Devon.
Whether an advanced golfer or occasional
player, you will enjoy the interesting and memorable challenge of
the course with its many water hazards. The creation of the lakes
and ponds and planting of 10,000 young trees now provides a habitat
for numerous wildlife species.
Leisure Fees and Green Fees |
The
informal bistro is the
centre of social activity, the place for drinks, coffees and excellent
suppers - relaxing and enjoyable surroundings for the whole family.
On summer evenings barbecues
are held on the patio which overlooks the golf course and surrounding
rolling countryside.
Within the club house is
a members' lounge and adjacent billiard room with a full sized table.
Attached to the club house
is the leisure club with a heated swimming pool, large whirlpool spa,
sauna and solarium.
There are countless places
to visit nearby - nature reserves, wildlife parks, historic houses
and gardens, craft studios, pannier markets and antique centres.
Many enjoyable and diverse
activities await you - walking, pony trekking, sea angling, surfing,
clay pigeon shooting, bowling and, of course, the glorious sandy beaches
and nearby visitor attractions.
Along the coast, which is
steeped in a tradition of smuggling, is the timeless fishing village
of Clovelly, famous the world over for its flower strewn cottages and
steep cobbled footpath leading to the 14th century harbour. From here
or from Bideford quay you can cross to Lundy Island, home to puffins
and seals.
Hartland Forest Golf & Leisure
Parc is a secluded, peaceful resort - none better from which to explore
so much of Devon's magic.
