The Manor House Inn -
Croyde
The Manor House Inn is a 16th Century Coaching inn situated
in the heart of the village of Croyde, and just a short walk from
Croyde's famous golden sandy beach, which is also very popular
with surfers and now probably this country's number one surfer's
destination. Serving a wide selection of fine wines, spirits
and ales The Manor House Inn has become one of the most popular
haunts of the locals, as well as visitors to the village.
In fact one of the local customers just won't go
away - he's our resident ghost, reputed to be one of the local
friendly monks from the Priory. A poor loser at darts (throws the
chalk around) he makes up for his histrionics with a little DIY
now and then (mysterious banging noises).
